journal formats, can include annotations or comments, and could be sorted
using WP Sorter.

Textout/5 2.0

converts WordPerfect 5.0 document files to ASCII.  It improves upon
WordPerfect's Text Out command, in both the "DOS Text" and "generic word
processing" formats.  TextOut/5 expands tabs to spaces, which WP5 does not do.
TO/5 also lets you mark certain font attributes, such as underlining, in the
text file so that when you edit the file in another processor, you can restore
the attributes.  TO/5 can also recover text from damaged files that WP5
refuses to load.  In addition, TO/5 is twice as fast as WP5 and can be used
without WP5.  TextOut5 also converts foot- and endnotes from the WP document,
whereas WP itself ignore notes when converting to ASCII.  It also has been
improved in the translation of overstruck characters.

     Other features include the following: support for tables, equations,
justification, and merge codes of WordPerfect 5.1; converts text and captions
from graphics boxes; translates over 400 WP special characters to ASCII; has an
option to specify your desired line length, overriding the formatting in the
document; can convert secondary merge files to a delimited ASCII format;
automatically detects the WP display pitch and uses it for tab filling,
resulting in better formatting.
